In these 10 days, Motorcycle Tour to Upper Mustang we are gonna explore which is the best-kept secret of Nepal. This Upper Mustang Motorbike trip starts from Pokhara and ends in Pokhara, we will explore Pokhara, Lete, Jomson, Muktinath (Lower Mustang), Lo Mantling, Kagbeni, Tatopani,. The route from Pokhara to upper Mustang is full of adventure and extreme off-roading in the Himalayas.
Day 1
On arrival at Kathmandu airport, our hotel representative will welcome you and arrange transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in and free time to freshen up. Briefing regarding the trip followed by welcome dinner. Elevation 1300 Meters
Day 2
Today we will explore some interestingplaces in and around Kathmandu, we willvisit Pashupatinath Temple, Bhakapur &Nagarkot . Nagarkot is renowned for itsstunning sunrise and sunset views overthe Himalayas. At an elevation of 2,175meters, it provides a panoramic view ofsnow-capped peaks, including MountEverest on a clear day. The sereneenvironment, lush greenery, and coolmountain air make Nagarkot a refreshinggetaway from the bustling city. Bhaktapur,one of Nepal’s most well-preservedmedieval cities and a UNESCO WorldHeritage Site. Just 12 km from Kathmandu,Bhaktapur is known for its rich history,exquisite architecture, and vibrant localculture.

Day 3
After the breakfast we will pickup our Royal Enfield motorcycles and start our epic
journey to Pokhara. The ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara is one of the most
scenic and thrilling motorcycle journeys in Nepal. Covering approximately 200 km, this
route offers breathtaking landscapes, winding roads, and a blend of cultural and
natural beauty.Starting from Kathmandu, the journey takes you through lush green
valleys, terraced farmlands, and traditional Nepalese villages, following the Prithvi
Highway along the Trishuli River.

Day 4
Today we will start our ride towards theMustang region, The Pokhara toMarpha motorcycle ride is anexhilarating journey that takes ridersfrom the lush green valleys of Pokharato the rugged landscapes of theMustang region. This route offers a mixof well-paved roads, off-road trails,river crossings, and high-altituderiding, making it a true adventure formotorcycle enthusiasts.The first stretchof the ride is smooth and scenic,following the Pokhara–Baglung Highwayalongside the Seti and Kali Gandakirivers.From Beni, the terrain shifts torougher roads with dirt tracks, gravel,and occasional landslides.

Day 5
We will ride further up into the valleys of Mustang region, The Marpha to Ghami route takes riders deeper into the Upper Mustang region, transitioning from the lush valleys of Lower Mustang to the barren, wind-swept landscapes of the Tibetan Plateau. This section is a true off-road adventure, with steep ascents, rocky trails, and high-altitude riding through some of Nepal’s most remote and breathtaking terrain.The ride begins
with an easy dirt trail from Marpha to Jomsom, a bustling town and gateway to Upper Mustang. The trail follows the Kali Gandaki River, with a mix of gravel tracks and sandy stretches.The climb to Taklam La Pass (3,624 meters) and Dajori La Pass (3,735 meters) tests both the rider’s skills and the bike’s endurance.

Day 6
Today we will ride to Upper Mustang,The Ghami to Lo Manthang ride takesmotorcyclists into the heart of UpperMustang, following an ancient traderoute once used by Tibetan merchants.This section of the journey is a mix ofhigh-altitude desert landscapes, steepascents, and thrilling off-road riding,with breathtaking views of theAnnapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. LoManthang, the capital of the formerKingdom of Mustang, is the ultimatedestination—a walled city rich inTibetan culture and history.

Day 7
Lo Manthang, the ancient walled city of Upper Mustang, is a hidden gem of Tibetan culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes. Nestled at an altitude of 3,840 meters (12,598 ft), this remote settlement was once the capital of the Kingdom of Mustang. Exploring Lo Manthang in one day offers a glimpse into its centuries-old monasteries, royal palaces, sky caves, and vibrant local traditions. A single day in Lo Manthang is a journey through time, offering a rare opportunity to witness Tibetan Buddhist traditions, ancient cave civilizations, and the untouched beauty of Upper Mustang. Day 8
After exploring Lo Manthang, we willstart our return journey. The ride fromLo Manthang (3,840 meters / 12,598 ft)to Ghiling (3,570 meters / 11,713 ft) is athrilling journey through the rugged,high-altitude desert terrain of UpperMustang. Covering approximately 50km, this route retraces part of theancient salt trade route, offeringstunning views of arid landscapes,dramatic canyons, and remote Tibetanvillages. The initial stretch from LoManthang is a mix of compact dirttrails and loose gravel, passing throughvast barren landscapes with occasionalsandy patches.
Day 9
The ride from Ghiling (3,570 meters / 11,713 ft) to Tatopani (2,600 meters / 8,530 ft) is a dramatic descent covering approximately 125 km, offering breathtaking views of the Mustang Valley while transitioning from the arid landscapes of Upper Mustang to the greener lower valleys. This leg of the journey follows winding dirt tracks, river crossings, and rugged mountainous terrain, making it both challenging and rewarding for adventure riders. A gradual descent with some technical sections, featuring sharp switchbacks and narrow cliffside tracks. Tatopani, meaning "hot water," is famous for its natural hot springs, a perfect place to relax after days of off-road riding.
Day 10
The ride from Tatopani (2,600m / 8,530 ft)to Pokhara (822m / 2,697 ft) is a 100 kmjourney that takes riders from the ruggedMustang region down into the lush,subtropical landscapes of central Nepal.This leg of the adventure offers adramatic shift in terrain, transitioningfrom the rocky, high-altitude trails of theKali Gandaki Valley to well-pavedhighways leading to the lakeside city ofPokhara. Once in Pokhara, riders canrelax by Phewa Lake, explore localmarkets, or enjoy a well-earnedcelebration after days of thrilling off-roadriding.
Day 11
The Pokhara to Kathmandu ride is a 200 km (124 miles) journey that takes riders from the peaceful lakeside city of Pokhara to the bustling capital of Nepal. This route traverses winding mountain roads, deep river valleys, and rural villages, offering a blend of thrilling curves and scenic landscapes. The ride typically takes 6 to 8 hours,
depending on weather, road conditions, and traffic. The ride follows the Prithvi Highway (NH 3), Nepal’s most important highway, connecting Kathmandu with Pokhara. Evening we will gather for a farewell dinner.
Day 12
After breakfast we will drop you to thrKathmandu airport for your onward journey. End of the tour.
