Spiti valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of the of Himachal Pradesh. The name ''Spiti'' means ''The middle land'', i.e. the land between Tibet and India. Spiti valley bike trip is one of the most adventurous journeys that one should take. Spiti valley is one of the least populated regions of India; Motorbike trip in Spiti Valley offers to explore some of the beautiful Terrains of the Himalayas. Mountains in Spiti valley route from Manali are full of lush green forests, barren hills, off-road and snow-capped mountains. During this “ Spiti bike trip” you will be exploring some of the oldest monasteries like Key Gompa and Dhankar monastery, the last Indian village “Chitkul”, famous Hindustan –Tibet highway, Worlds highest post office at Hikkim Village , Highest village in the world connected by road at Komic village.

Day 1
Arrival at Manali

Upon arrival, our team will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Take a moment to settle in, refresh, and get acquainted with your surroundings. Manali's cool mountain air and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks provide the perfect backdrop to begin your journey. During the evening we will check the bikes and meet again for the briefing session followed by dinner.

Day 2
Manali to Jibhi - 110 Kms

Your adventure begins with an early breakfast in the cool, crisp air of Manali. With the sun rising over the Himalayan peaks, it's time to gear up and start your journey to Jibhi, a hidden gem nestled in the serene Tirthan Valley. The ride from Manali to Jibhi is approximately 100 kilometers and offers a perfect blend of thrilling roads and stunning landscapes. By early afternoon we will reach Jibhi. Jibhi is located at the height of 1600Mtrs

Day 3
Jibhi to Sarahan - 135 Kms

As we depart from Jibhi, the winding roads take us through lush forests and charming villages. The route offers a mix of smooth tarmac and exciting off-road sections, providing an exhilarating riding experience. You'll ride alongside the Tirthan River, with the majestic Himalayas as your constant companion. Our journey takes us over the challenging Jalori Pass, at an altitude of 10,800 feet. The steep ascent and descent are thrilling, with sharp curves and breathtaking views at every turn. At the summit, take a break to admire the panoramic vistas of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Sarahan is located at the height of 2300 Mtrs

Day 4
Sarahan to Kalpa - 100 Kms

As we leave Sarahan, the road winds through the lush green forests and terraced fields, offering spectacular views of the Kinnaur-Kailash range. The ride is a mix of smooth tarmac and thrilling mountain roads, making it an exciting journey for motorcycle enthusiasts. Arriving in Kalpa, you’ll be struck by the serene beauty of this charming village, set against the backdrop of the Kinnaur-Kailash range. Kalpa is known for its apple orchards, traditional wooden houses, and the stunning views of the snow-capped peaks. Kalpa is at the height of 2900 Mtrs

Day 5
Kalpa to Sangla - 60 kms

After breakfast we will proceed to obtain Inner line permits to enter Spiti valley, after finishing the formalities. we will ride towards Sangla. Arriving in Sangla, you’ll be welcomed by the lush green landscapes and the serene beauty of the Baspa Valley. Sangla is known for its scenic beauty, with the Baspa River flowing through the valley and surrounded by towering mountainsAs evening approaches, gather with your fellow riders around a bonfire. Share stories of the day’s ride and enjoy a delicious dinner featuring local specialties. The serene ambiance of Sangla, combined with the clear, starry sky, makes for a perfect evening in the Himalayas. Sangla is at the height of 2900 Mtrs

Day 6
Sangla to Nako - 130 Kms

As we leave Sangla, the road winds through lush green forests and picturesque villages, gradually ascending towards higher altitudes. The route is a mix of smooth tarmac and rugged mountain roads, providing an exciting ride for motorcycle enthusiasts. As you approach Nako, the landscape transforms into a high-altitude desert with rugged mountains and sparse vegetation. Nako is perched at an altitude of 3,662 meters (12,014 feet) and is one of the highest villages in the region. The village, with its ancient monasteries and serene lake, offers a unique glimpse into the traditional Himalayan lifestyle.

Day 7
Nako to Kaza - 145 Kms

After breakfast we will start our ride towards Kaza, Our first major stop is the village of Gue, home to the famous Gue Mummy. The well-preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk, believed to be over 500 years old, is a fascinating and eerie sight. Continuing our journey, we head towards the ancient Dhankar Monastery, perched precariously on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. Kaza is at the height of 3700 Mtrs

Day 8
Explore Kaza - 70 Kms

Today we will explore some of the interesting places near Kaza, Perched on a hilltop at an altitude of 4,166 meters (13,668 feet), Key Gompa is the largest and most iconic monastery in Spiti. Next, we ride to the Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Our journey continues to Langza, a village situated at an altitude of 4,420 meters (14,500 feet). Langza is known for its rich fossil deposits, ancient Buddhist statue. From Langza, we ride to Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office at an altitude of 4,440 meters (14,567 feet). Our final destination for the day is Komic, one of the highest villages in the world accessible by a motorable road, sitting at an altitude of 4,587 meters (15,049 feet)

Day 9
Kaza to Manali - 185 Kms

After early breakfast we will leave kaza and ride towards Manali. The entire stretch for 80-90 kms is completely offroad and challenging terrain, it will take 8-10 hrs to cover the distance from Kaza to Manali, Our first major milestone is the Kunzum Pass, located at an altitude of 4,551 meters (14,931 feet)we pass through the remote and rugged areas of Chattru and Chota Dhara. These sections of the road are known for their challenging terrain and stunning landscapes

Day 10
Departure from Manali

After breakfast we will checkout from the hotel and drop you to the Kullu airport.

  • Royal Enfield Himalayan 450cc motorcycle with fuel for the entire trip as per the itinerary
  • Accommodation on Double sharing basis (Hotels/Camps/Guest House)
  • Breakfast and Dinner (Set Menu meals, Starts from Dinner on Day 1 and ends with Breakfast on Day 10)
