Day 1 – Welcome to Chennai!
As you arrive in Chennai, our team will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the airport. From there, we’ll whisk you away to your hotel for check-in, where you can unwind and refresh after your journey. Later in the evening, we’ll gather for a delightful briefing session, where you’ll receive all the essential information about our upcoming adventure. To kick off our journey in style, we’ll then treat you to a warm and welcoming dinner, setting the tone for the incredible experiences that lie ahead. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure across South India!

Day 2 – Chennai to Puduncherry – 160 km
 of Adventure
Today begins our thrilling motorcycle journey through Southern India! After breakfast, we rev up our Royal Enfield motorcycles and head along the scenic East Coast road to Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Mahabalipuram, we marvel at the majestic Shore Temple, crafted by the Pallava dynasty in the 7th century. We explore the iconic ‘Five Rathas’ and witness Arjuna’s Penance before indulging in a delicious lunch en route to Puducherry. By evening, we reach Puducherry, where we unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures, ready to embrace the wonders of this charming coastal town.

Day 3 – Exploring the Charms of Puducherry: 50 km Adventure
After breakfast, we delve into Puducherry’s captivating French colonial history. Our first stop is the serene Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a sanctuary for spiritual seekers worldwide. Next, we visit the iconic Eglise de Notre Dame des Anges, a symbol of Puducherry’s architectural heritage. Delving into history, we explore the Puducherry Museum, discovering relics of French influence and artifacts from the Arikamedu Roman settlement.As evening descends, we unwind at Puducherry’s scenic beaches, immersing ourselves in the coastal charm. Get ready for a day of exploration and enlightenment in this charming coastal city.

Day 4 – Journey to Kolli Hills: 250 km
Leaving Puducherry, we embark on an exhilarating ride to the breathtaking Kolli Hills in Tamil Nadu. Nestled in the Namakkal district, Kolli Hills rise to 1350 meters, offering serene beauty and tranquility. Our journey winds through picturesque countryside, where we immerse ourselves in the essence of Southern India. Along the way, we explore villages, sample authentic South Indian cuisine, and interact with locals. As we ascend, the road becomes more adventurous, with hairpin bends and rustic landscapes. The final stretch may lead us through red sands and aromatic spice plantations, adding to the sensory experience. By early evening, we reach Kolli Hills, a remote hill station untouched by commercialisation. Get ready to discover the serenity and natural splendor of this hidden gem in Southern India.

Day 5 – Kolli Hills to Ooty: 260 km
Our journey continues as we head to Coonoor/Ooty, known as the “Queen of Hills” for its exquisite tea plantations. Descending from Kolli Hills, we navigate through 70 hairpin curves in the Namakkal district. Ooty awaits us at an elevation of 2240 meters, nestled amidst the Western and Eastern Ghats. Our route winds through captivating landscapes, avoiding highways to embrace lesser-traveled roads. As we approach Ooty by early evening, the pleasant year-round weather invites us to explore its scenic beauty. Get ready to immerse yourself in the enchanting allure of Ooty, where every turn unveils a new facet of Southern India’s splendor.

Day 6: Ooty to Masinagudi – 80 kms
Leaving Ooty’s captivating landscapes behind, we journey towards Masinagudi, nestled in the heart of the Madumalai Tiger Reserve. Our route winds through scenic tea plantations and picturesque vistas of Southern India. Covering approximately 80 km, today’s journey is relatively easy. We aim to reach Masinagudi by noon, leaving ample time to rest before our evening adventure – the Jungle Safari. Masinagudi promises an immersive wildlife experience within the Madumalai Tiger Reserve. The evening Jungle Safari allows us to witness the region’s diverse flora and fauna up close. Excited for the wilderness of Masinagudi, we eagerly anticipate the wonders awaiting us in the Madumalai Tiger Reserve.

Day 7: Masinagudi to Coorg – 240 kms
Today, we embark on a thrilling journey from Masinagudi to the misty landscapes of Coorg in Karnataka. Passing through five tiger reserves and three states of Southern India, our route is an adventure in itself. Beginning from Madumalai Tiger Reserve, we traverse through Bandipur, Muthanga, and Wayanad Tiger Reserves, each offering unique biodiversity. Riding through these protected habitats allows us to appreciate wildlife conservation. By evening, we reach the Virajpet district of Coorg, known for its misty landscapes and coffee plantations. Excited to explore Coorg’s wonders and culinary delights, we embrace the tranquility of this picturesque corner of Karnataka.

Day 8: Coorg to Chikkamagalur – 160 km

Today, we explore Mullayangiri Peak and Baba Budangiri Peak, tracing the rich history of coffee in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. Introduced by Baba Budan in 1670, coffee cultivation thrives in this region. Navigating scenic trails, we’re immersed in lush landscapes and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Mullayangiri, Karnataka’s highest peak, offers panoramic views, while Baba Budangiri Peak carries the legacy of a Sufi saint. Exploring these peaks reveals the beauty of coffee plantations amidst verdant hillsides. Each turn unveils new vistas, deepening our appreciation for Chikmagalur’s heritage. Day 9: Explore the Coffee Trails – 80 km
Today, we explore Mullayangiri Peak and Baba Budangiri Peak, tracing Chikmagalur’s rich coffee history. Introduced by Baba Budan in 1670, coffee cultivation thrives here. Navigating scenic trails, we’re immersed in lush landscapes and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Day 10: Bababudangiri Hills to Hampi – 300 kms
Today, we embark on one of our longest rides in the South India Motorcycle Tour, covering nearly 300 kilometers from Bababudangiri Hills to historic Hampi. After an early breakfast, we ascend towards the Tarikere district, passing through northern Karnataka’s countryside. By evening, we aim to reach Hospet, our gateway to Hampi’s ancient ruins. Though long, today’s journey is filled with adventure and discovery, fueling our anticipation of uncovering Hampi’s majestic past.

Day 11: Explore Hampi – 80Kms
After yesterday’s 200-mile ride, we leave our motorcycles in Hospet to explore Hampi on four wheels. Following breakfast, our local guide leads us through the UNESCO World Heritage Site along the Tungabhadra River. Hampi, once the capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, is rich in history and architectural marvels. Our exploration begins at the Vijaya Vittala Temple, a 15th-century marvel, followed by the Virupaksha Temple, dating back to the 7th century. We continue to the Lotus Temple, Hampi Bazaar, and other significant ruins, each echoing Hampi’s cultural heritage. Delving into Hampi’s past, we uncover its architectural splendor and timeless charm, enriched by its legacy. As the day ends, we cherish memories of exploration and discovery, grateful for Hampi’s wonders.

Day 12: Hampi to Dandeli Tiger Reserve – 250 Km
Leaving Hampi’s ruins behind, we head to Dandeli National Park in Uttara Kannada, Karnataka. Declared a tiger reserve in 2006, it’s renowned for its wildlife including the elusive Black Panther, tigers, elephants, and more. Our ride traverses villages and forests, bringing us to Dandeli by evening. Nestled in the heart of the tiger reserve, jungle cottages await us for an immersive experience amidst nature. Excited to explore Dandeli’s wilderness, we anticipate encounters with its majestic wildlife. Ready for adventure, we embrace the allure of Karnataka’s untamed landscapes.

Day 13: Dandeli Tiger Reserve to North Goa – 150 Km
On our final day of the South India Motorcycle Tour, we bid farewell to Dandeli and headed towards the vibrant shores of North Goa after breakfast. Riding through Anshi National Park, we enter Goa, traversing approximately 50 miles of pristine wilderness. Immersed in nature’s tranquility, we encounter a few human settlements along the winding forest tracks. Continuing for another 80 miles, we reach Panjim, Goa’s capital, where the coastal charm welcomes us warmly. Our journey culminates in the bustling streets of North Goa, filled with echoes of our adventures. Reflecting on our memories, we celebrate camaraderie and the spirit of exploration that defined our journey. With gratitude and excitement, we bid adieu to the open road, carrying unforgettable experiences with us.

Day 14: Explore Goa – 50 Km
Upon reaching Panjim, we bid farewell to our Royal Enfield Motorcycles and embark on a four-wheeled exploration of Goa. After breakfast, we visit iconic landmarks like the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Fort Aguada, immersing ourselves in Goa’s rich history and architectural grandeur. Exploring magnificent Hindu temples, we experience the cultural tapestry of the region. In the evening, you’re free to explore at your leisure, whether shopping for souvenirs, savoring local delicacies in beach shacks, or relaxing by the sea. Later, we gather for a farewell dinner, sharing stories and memories from our South India Motorcycle Tour. As the sun sets on our final day in Goa, we cherish the moments shared and the friendships made, carrying with us the spirit of exploration and camaraderie that defined our journey through South India.

Day 15: Departure from Panjim
Today marks the end of our unforgettable South India Motorcycle Tour on Royal Enfield. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, we bid farewell to Panjim, cherishing the memories of our incredible journey together.
